Print

Looking for grants and funding that can help you streamline your work processes and better manage your employees? Why not tap on age management funds from WorkPro’s Age Management Grant, WorkPro’s Job Redesign Grant, and the Special Employment Credit (SEC) to foster a progressive and age-friendly workplace for older workers. For companies looking to introduce work-life initiatives, consider WorkPro’s Work-Life Grant to help you implement a flexible and conducive workplace.

WorkPro

Do you need help to put in place flexible work arrangements? Do you face funding issues for job redesign? WorkPro, a one-stop programme, is here to help foster progressive and age-friendly workplaces and jobs.

Jointly developed by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and the Workforce Singapore in consultation with the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), WorkPro offers your organisation grants to implement work-life measures, redesign jobs and adopt progressive age-friendly HR practices. Any company registered or incorporated in Singapore can register for WorkPro.

Since 1 July 2016, WorkPro has been enhanced, allowing companies to receive a grant of up to $480,000. Companies who have received funding under the first edition of WorkPro (1 April 2013 to 30 June 2016) for Age Management and Work-Life Grant will not be eligible for the enhanced scheme, but could continue to tap on the Job Redesign Grant.

Special Employment Credit (SEC)

Plagued by economic uncertainties?  Fear not, the SEC, will be extended for another 3 years (viz. 2017 to 2019) to provide a wage-offset to employers hiring Singaporean workers aged 55 and above, and earning up to $4,000. The CPF Board will automatically assess your eligibility for the SEC in accordance to your regular monthly CPF contributions for your employees. A letter will then be mailed to inform you of the payment should you be eligible.

To learn more about Special Employment Credit, visit the SEC website or email sec@mom.gov.sg or contact the Central Provident Fund Board at 1800-2222-888.
